Bless the internet for revealing more retro computing gems. The kind folks over at KreativeKorp have recreated the C64 and C128 font set. The fonts are in TrueType format so they are usable on Windows and the Microsoft Office suite. We can think of many great uses for these font so it is time to get creative.

The kind folks over at KreativeKorp have recreated the Commodore C64 and C128 font set. The fonts are in TrueType format so they are usable on Windows and in the Microsoft Office suite. These fonts will really make your document and games look sensational in that quirky 8 bit font graphics style. Change your default fonts to this truetype font set and you will really be living the retrocomputing dream.

The interesting thing about microcomputer character sets is that they have primitive glyphs that made building basic images and borders into your screens a breeze and took no real programming skills to implement. Many dot matrix printers at the time supported the fonts so you could create decent documents. Look to the larger ASCII character numbers to see what we mean.
